아메리카 어느 인디언 부족의 성년식 이야기입니다.
이 부족에서는 성년이 된 소년, 소녀에게
바구니를 들고 옥수수 밭을 걷게 합니다.
긴 밭고랑을 걸으며 가장 크고 탐스러운 옥수수
딱 하나만 골라 바구니에 담는 것이지요.
단, 이때 이미 지나온 길로는 절대 되돌아갈 수 없으며
이미 딴 옥수수를 다른 것으로 바꿀 수도 없습니다.
정말 마음에 든 옥수수 딱 하나만을 골라야 하는 것이지요.
다들 어떤 옥수수를 골랐을까요?
소년, 소녀들의 바구니는 비어있거나
맨 마지막에 급하게 딴 초라한 옥수수 하나가 담겨 있기 일쑤입니다.
좋은 것을 다른 것과 끊임없이 견주다가 결국 놓치고 만 것이지요.
나를 사로잡을 사람 하나를 기다리는 우리는 어떤가요?

겨울엔 정말 답이 없다
.너무 추워서 머리가 통체로 얼어버리는것만 같다
그래서 구입한 balaclava.
주말에 바이크타고 달릴 생각에
기분이 좋다.
이젠 좀 덜 춥겟지...

- Humanity - Imitate Jesus and Socrates.
